First Day Photo Shoot

Our wonderful PEACE Co-op has 4 Seniors this year... yes, another Senior year for us too!

They set up their own "Senior photo shoot" our first day.  I adore these amazing world-changers!!  I'm so grateful for their friendships, and for the chance to share Senior year together.

Guess which one is mine???

It's going to be a GREAT year!

Les Mis

Our Senior is about to graduate....

He LOVES musicals, especially Les Miserables.  We were able to get tickets to the show in Dallas, so off we went for a special getaway with JUST him.

It was amazing.  I love this story, the music was truly inspiring and time with him was priceless!

The topping, our great friends were able to go as well.  Sharing it with a fellow senior in our coop made it even sweeter.

Isn't he adorable in a suit and tie...just sayin'!

Sneak Peek...

More "Senior moments" - I got a preview of his Senior Pictures.  Sniff, sniff - he's just so handsome!

But - this is more like our real-life - always a photo bomber!

Here we go again...

Senior year... I love it, and I hate it -  It's exciting to see the rewards of all our hard work (yes, it's been my hard work too!)

But, it's bittersweet... every day is a "last".  Every acceptance letter or college visit for him, means "he's leaving soon" for me.

But, I wouldn't want it any other way - he needs to fly from the nest to really find what God has in store for him.

This year,  I'm celebrating loudly, and crying quietly.  God is GOOD!

Shameless bragging on how homeschooling pays off!

Boy Baylor or Chick Baylor?  Can you tell which one I am secretly cheering for... hint, picture size matters!

My Senior

Get ready for more "senior moments" coming this year...

He's a great kid!

And, he owe's it all to me...
