UMHB Easter Pagaent

 Noah got the privilege to play a role of a disciple in the UMHB Easter Pagaent 2021 - it was truly a moving performance, and a highlight of the year! They have been doing this for 82 years!

Our 1st College Grad!

The UMHB Spring 2020 Graduation was a bit delayed due to COVID, but FINALLY, we got to cheer like crazy for our Summa Cum Laude 4.0, Double Major BA!

They re-enacted their first "Parent's Weekend" pose!  So proud of these roommates that worked so hard and made a friendship for life. 

On to that Master's degree (another graduation coming soon!)
 

Proud Mom Moment

Another "proud mom moment" here - My oldest was awarded the "Faculty Award" from the McClane College of Business at UMHB.

Like everything right now, it was a Zoom meeting presentation.  On the bright side - I did get to be physically present to see him accept the award - and to hear the wonderful comments made by the business professors that have been pouring into him these past 4 years. 

We're so proud of you Sam!  Way to be the world changer I've always told you to be!

Gary and Diane Heavin Servant Leadership Award 2019

Can I have a moment to shameless brag on this son of mine?

Sam was awarded the Gary and Diane Heavin Servant Leadership Award at UMHB for 2019!   I couldn't be more proud of the man he has become.

It was a great joy to watch my son step up and speak to the packed auditorium with grace and confidence.  He was able to present his choice of ministries with a donation as well. 

My greatest joy, to see my children loving and serving God with all their hearts, minds, souls and strength!

Keep being faithful in the small things... they all add up.

UMHB - Family Weekend 2019

I love Family Weekend at UMHB! 

Getting to see my college boys thriving in a wonderful environment really blesses my heart every time. It feels like home.

Having the entire crew together is the best!  My favorite moment wasn't captured on film (being present!) they were all playing football in the rec field under the stars.  I could have listened to them giggle and watch them chase each other down, all night long. 

College Freshman - doing great finding his path - and helping me take a good selfie... I'm notoriously bad at selfies, you'll see...

College Sophomore (and first example of my selfie taking skills)- he's really rocking the college life now.  So proud of him!

 College SENIOR - what?  how did that happen...it's my last family weekend??  Don't blink, you'll miss it!!

 This one isn't leaving anytime soon...but, she loves Family Weekend for big brothers and cheerleaders!

UMHB Family Weekend 2017-18

I love having us all back together, it's amazing with so many that we would feel so incomplete when we aren't all together.

We spent a great couple of days with our oldest at UMHB Family weekend... We really didn't do any of the campus activities - we just did "us". First stop - Friday night pizza night.  And, everything is right again, our table is full!

And these two... always like this.  Best of friends, and rivals at the same time.  

Hotels LOVE us... we're super quiet...really!

Then, it was off to our favorite park in Belton.  Oh my heart... just look at them!  They are the most amazing world changers you will EVER meet!
