Halfway!

I'm about to graduate my 4th child... that means I'm "halfway" done with homeschooling!  What an adventure it's been ❤️

Here's a sneak peek at her amazing Senior photos - the ballet edition!

Beautiful Ballerinas

Covid delayed our spring Ballet... but, my beautiful ballerinas were able to do a recorded performance of Cinderella.

And Chloe finally earned those much coveted Pointe Shoes!  I'm so proud of their hard work and dedication ❤️

Nutcracker 2019

Ballerina back on stage with the Moscow Ballet's Nutcracker!

What an amazing performance.  Such a joy to see my girl doing what she loves. She was the cutest "party boy" I've ever seen.

And, a great girls date-night too!

On Pointe - again!

She's back on Pointe!  After taking a 2 year break to pursue other interests (like riding), she's back to her first love.

We are delighted to have found a serious dance studio, that also makes it possible for girls who love dance to do it, without needing to devote every.waking.moment to dance. Ballet moms, you know what I'm taking about.

The pointe shoe fitting comeback...

I love watching her dance!

Nutcracker Ballet

Time for another Bentz Family Tradition - this one is not for the fait of heart...  The Nutcracker Ballet!

I just happened to see a FB post for auditions for children's cast parts in the Ballet San Antonio's Nutcracker.  So,  my ballerinas gave it a shot.  They both got parts!

A Baby Mouse

And a Soldier & Party Boy

What an experience we all had.  Tons of mandatory rehearsals, lots of driving, hard work... but - what an amazing experience for them.

They performed in 7 PROFESSIONAL productions of The Nutcracker, side-by-side with professional dancers.  They made new friends, and they loved every minute.  I had fun too - getting to be backstage, and even in the wings of the beautiful Tobin Center as they performed.

Not to mention, the whole family got to see them perform, and attend a real ballet.  A must see!!
